Visiting Nurse and Hospice Care of Santa Barbara is a non-profit whose mission is to provide high-quality, comprehensive, cost-effective, home health, hospice and related services that enhance the health and well being of all community residents — including those unable to pay.
Subsidized Care is available for home health and hospice patients, both at home and at Serenity House, and through the Community Loan Closet for medical equipment. Grants from the United Way also make bath and respite care possible for community clients.
This charitable mission of the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Care of Santa Barbara is made possible by private gifts and grants from individuals, corporations and foundations. Funds raised by the VNHC Foundation are used to provide low and no cost services to those who qualify, ensuring that the highest quality of care is provided to all community residents, including those unable to pay.
