Remembrance Service

The staff and volunteers at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Care of Santa Barbara provide an Annual Remembrance Service for its community members. This event is held to honor the lives of any of our loved ones whom we have lost in the past year. During the service we have a Ritual of Roses, Candle Lighting and a slide show of pictures submitted in advanced by the families of these loved ones. Along with this, this special event features music, readings and a meditation. We remember our losses together which creates the opportunity to find comfort and healing among each other.

After the Service our staff and volunteers look forward to greeting everyone in attendance in the back of the hall and enjoy each others company. Refreshments and cookies are served at that time.

The next Remembrance Service is scheduled for April 2009 at the Fellowship Hall of the First Presbyterian Church located at 21 E. Constance Ave. in Santa Barbara.
