New VNHC Board Members

Bob Hirsch has a degree from Yale University and spent his career in the retail and apparel industries as a marketing and management executive.

After retirement, Bob continued his career in civic service, serving on numerous boards and foundations, including Arizona Alzheimer’s Association, United Way of Northern Arizona, and the Forest Highlands Foundation.  He was also involved in the creation of the hospice facility for Flagstaff, Arizona.

Since Bob and his wife Shauna settled in Montecito in 2006, he has served on the Boards of Central Coast Alzheimer’s Association and the Homeowners Association of Ennisbrook.

 

Will Vasquez attended Cal Poly Pomona, where he majored in International Business and Computer Information Systems,  while playing Division II college basketball.Wil Vasquez

Will is in the magazine publishing and advertising business. He started his own business in 1995, specializing in the US Hispanic media marketplace.  Will’s business dealings are primarily with Fortune 500 companies and their ad agencies, with a focus on collaborative publishing in national print and website projects, most recently working with The Walt Disney Co. to publish their first-ever, Spanish-language magazine for the US Hispanic market.

Will, his wife Nancy, and his twin children Benjamin and Isabella have been Santa Barbara area residents for over 15years.

 

Wil VasquezChris Jones has practiced law in Santa Barbara county for over 28 years. He is one of the  top Trusts and Estate Planning attorneys in the area.

Chris has also served as a law school instructor at UC Santa Barbara and Santa Barbara College of Law.

Chris is a member of the State Bar of California, the Santa Barbara County Bar Association, Inns of Court, Santa Barbara Women Lawyers, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He has served on the Boards of Directors for RSVP, Work Training Programs, Music and Arts Conservatory, and the Friendship Center. He is also a Santa Barbara County First District Appointee to the Adult and Aging Network.

Additionally, Chris is a Hospice program volunteer and a member of the Planned Giving Committees for VNHC and the Heart Association.

The "Caring" newsletter is published three times a year by the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Care Foundation, edited by Tamara Skov, Executive Director of the Foundation, 690-6222.
