VCC offers high quality, professional, non-medical care in the comfort of your own home.  Our services support and enhance your health and wellness for an independent lifestyle at home.  We can help you recover from an illness or injury, assist with activities of daily living or offer companionship.  When your needs at home change, we're here to help.  We provide a free in-home assessment to create a plan of care that is customized for your special needs.  We are available whether you need a few hours or 24-hour a day assistance.

New Program! Care Management

In response to a community need and physician requests, Visiting Care & Companions (VCC) has added a Care Management Component. This specially trained Registered Nurse works directly with older adults and their families to assess their needs, develop a plan of care, and access services to assist with safe independent living.

…. A Care Manager can help.

The Care Manager will meet in the privacy of your parent’s home to gain an understanding of your loved one’s needs and begin a plan to access the support and assistance that will enable the older adult to manage with dignity.  Continuity of care management occurs by facilitating family communication and can reduce the burden on families and prevent unnecessary expenses.  Ongoing assessment and monitoring of progress are part of the service options.

The credibility and community trust in Visiting Care & Companions (VCC) was reflected by the acquisition of the established Santa Barbara Care Management, Inc. owned and operated by retiring Diane Simpkins, RN.  Diane stated she is thrilled that her client base and caregivers will now be under the umbrella of  VCC’s  Care Management program and has confidence her former clients will be well cared for.
